After much work, our new product (Baby Rodenburg) has just been released. It’s a brand new DVD for babies, toddlers, and young children. It’s an introduction to American Sign Language, the Alphabet, Numbers, Colors, and Animals! The new Baby Rodenburg DVD can be bought, or previewed at www.babyrodenburg.com.
We just got the first run of DVD’s back from the manufacturer this past tuesday, and they look really good. This was a project that never would have happened had it not been for my wife. I made short video about a year ago for my son. I wanted him to be able to see something more educational then puppets making nonsense noises. So I made him a short video with letters and words, and it turned out to captivate him more then any of the professional Baby DVD’s he had at the time.
My wife really liked it, and when i was done with the “Bird & Cactus” tv pilot, she encouraged me to do more with the short baby video. So we decided to put in it anything we thought we could have used when our boy was younger (ie. sign language), and try to put in it things our son liked. All in all i’m pretty proud of it. Thus i emplore anyone who may have a young child, or know one, to check out “Baby Rodenburg.”
In the next two weeks i hope to get a new set built. Once that is done we should begin production on some new “Jake is Overlord!!!” shorts, and a series of shorts with puppets that i’ve been dying to do.
